Women's Fashion

This section brings together the source catalog's women's clothing and footwear groups. Start with the garment type: a dress, separate top, pair of bottoms or coordinated set raises different questions. Activewear, swimwear and lingerie also need their own size and coverage checks. These are navigation labels drawn from the central catalog, rather than a promise about who an item will fit.

Choose a few references that match the shape you want to investigate. Save the exact option and source ID, not just the collage. Listings that show several coordinated pieces may price them individually; check the selected option before assuming an entire outfit is included.

Researching Women's Fashion

Use measurements relevant to the garment

A dress may need bust, waist, hip and length measurements, while a top may require shoulder and sleeve dimensions. Compare the chart's stated measuring points with a garment measured the same way. Size letters can conceal large differences between cuts. If stretch, adjustable straps or a lining affects your choice, look for an explicit description or ask the source.

Check what belongs to the selected option

A styled photo can include shoes, jewellery or an extra layer that is not part of the item. For sets, establish which pieces the option contains and whether sizes are combined or selected separately. Follow the option image through to the source reference so an attractive styling photo does not become an inaccurate order note.

Compare visible construction without guessing performance

For QC, request useful views of closures, seams, hems and the reverse where needed. On patterned garments, compare placement to the chosen reference. Photographs cannot establish opacity in every light, colourfastness or how an item behaves in water or during exercise. Keep those questions separate and confirm any required specification before making a purchase decision.
