Headwear
The shape of a crown and brim is a more useful starting point than a logo when browsing headwear. Baseball caps, trucker caps, bucket hats and beanies present different structures and size questions. Use the subcategories to narrow the shape, then check the details of individual references. Not every item in a group uses the same fabric, lining or fastening.
Headwear photos can make two caps appear similar while hiding a different back closure or crown depth. Open the source-listed options before adding an item to your shortlist. Keep the selected colour, exact reference and relevant sizing notes together.

Find the size range and the measuring method
A one-size label does not give a complete fit range. Look for head circumference guidance, an adjustment range or a stated size scale. For a fixed-size hat, confirm which measurement belongs to the chosen option. For a stretch knit, ask how the source describes its range rather than estimating fit from a flat product image.
Compare the silhouette from several views
The front view shows the panel shape and decoration; side and rear photos reveal crown depth, brim profile and the closure. A bucket hat may have a quite different brim width from another item in the same category. If the inside or back is absent, request it when that detail will affect your decision.
Make QC specific to the selected cap or hat
Check that the requested option matches the crown, brim and visible decoration in the reference. Inspect accessible seams, embroidery edges and the fastening. A photo can reveal an obvious mark or a misplaced design when the area is clear, but it cannot establish UV protection, weather resistance or how the shape will behave after washing.
