Hoodies & Sweaters
A pullover hoodie, a zip-up sweatshirt and a knitted cardigan may all serve as layers, but they should not share the same research checklist. Use these subcategories to separate the opening, hood and knit structure you want before comparing product references. Graphic and logo groups help locate designs; they do not establish a garment's maker or the accuracy of a print.
A useful shortlist records the chosen colour, the source reference and the measurements relevant to your preferred fit. Product photos often show several garments together. Open the detail page to distinguish the overview image from the photo associated with a selectable option.

Measure a layer you already wear
Compare chest width, body length and sleeve measurements with a garment laid flat using the same method. A letter size alone leaves room for a very different silhouette. Hoodies worn over another top may need a different allowance from a close-fitting knit. Ask how a source measurement was taken when the chart does not explain it.
Separate surface appearance from fabric evidence
A brushed interior, chunky knit or heavy-looking drape can be visible in a photo, but the image does not establish fibre composition or fabric weight. Look for an explicit source specification if those details matter. Treat terms such as fleece or knit as starting points for questions rather than proof of warmth, softness or washing behaviour.
Check the details that change with the design
For zip layers, compare the opening, slider and pocket alignment. For pullovers, inspect the neckline, hood and cuffs. For printed or embroidered pieces, check placement against the chosen option instead of a different colour in the collage. QC photos can show an incomplete seam or an unexpected mark when the relevant area is visible; request a closer view where needed.
