Accessories

Small accessories often demand more precise measurements than their product photos suggest. A ring, belt, scarf or pair of glasses can fill the same image area while having very different dimensions in use. Start with the subcategory below, then compare the recorded item and its option labels rather than judging scale from the card image.

The Accessories group contains several distinct kinds of references, including jewellery, eyewear, socks and fragrances. A category name describes where the source catalog places a product. It does not establish material composition, compatibility, a fragrance formula or any relationship with the name shown in a design.

Researching Accessories

Make dimensions part of the shortlist

For belts, distinguish strap length from the usable hole range. For eyewear, look for frame and temple measurements. Jewellery may need ring size, chain length or the dimensions of a clasp. Save the units and the measuring method alongside the source ID. A photo without a scale is useful for appearance but cannot settle whether a small item will fit.

Keep variant and inclusion details together

Some listings group different charms, colours or pack sizes under one collage. Check whether an option represents one item, a pair or a set, and match it to an individual image. Packaging displayed beside a product may be optional. Record the exact option text when a finish or included component changes between versions.

Use close photos for visible checks

Inspect joins, closures, visible markings and surface condition in QC images. Ask for readable views of labels or dimensions when those are important. A metallic finish does not identify an alloy; tinted lenses do not demonstrate UV protection; a bottle photo cannot establish its contents. Questions about materials, safety or compatibility need source evidence beyond the appearance of a photo.
