Product Variant Notes vs QC Notes for Yupoo Items

Separate what you selected before buying from what you observed after receipt, then connect the two records without overwriting either.

One record is intent; the other is observation

Variant notes describe the item you asked to buy: seller source, code, colour, size and quantity. QC notes describe what a receiving image or service response appears to show later. Mixing them can turn an uncertain photograph into a revised purchase instruction.

Before the purchase

Copy seller option labels exactly and keep your own description separate. The colour-and-size record shows where those fields belong. Mark any unconfirmed detail as a question rather than a selected option.

After receipt

Attach each receiving photo to the handling-service item ID. Note a visible label, mark or discrepancy and the particular photo showing it. The single QC issue packet helps keep a concern specific and checkable. A photo cannot establish fit, material composition or authenticity.

Compare without rewriting history

Put the approved variant line beside the QC observation. If the received detail differs, ask for clarification or a further view; do not silently edit the original selection. The category-specific buying brief illustrates how the pre-purchase fields change across products.

Mark each check answered, unresolved or unavailable. Any parcel approval is a later decision tied to the received item, not a retroactive change to the original request.
