How to Prepare a Fallback Choice for a Yupoo Variant

Specify an alternate Yupoo colour or size as a conditional choice, not a silent substitution, and ask for an explicit answer before any purchase is approved.

Keep the first choice primary

An alternative can be useful when the selected option is uncertain, but a fallback must not blur what you originally wanted. This workflow prepares a conditional question; it does not authorize a seller or buying service to substitute products automatically.

Write the primary album, seller reference, item code, colour, size and quantity first. Then put the alternate option in a separate field with the condition that would trigger asking about it. Do not treat a colour in a different album as the same item without confirmation.

Phrase the condition clearly

  • Primary: the exact selection you want considered first.
  • Fallback: a specific different selection, if acceptable to you.
  • Trigger: the circumstance in which the fallback may be discussed.
  • Approval: the response you need before replacing the primary choice.

The seller availability reply guide helps attach an answer to the right option. A generic response about availability should not activate a fallback on its own.

Ask for item-specific confirmation

Tell the responsible service that the alternative is a proposal, not permission to purchase it. Ask it to state which item and variant it can actually handle and what remains unresolved. If the proposed alternative is from an old album, follow the repeat-order checklist to recheck the current source.

Preserve the change trail

If you approve a different option, record the original and the newly accepted selection. The request-update guide shows how to retain both versions. Receiving photographs should be checked against the approved version, not the unused fallback. Ask about any handling constraints directly; no substitution, cancellation or refund policy is implied here.
